This is a low mintage date with just 18,000 struck for general circulation. Here is one of the finer examples known, with just a touch of wear on the high points and only moderate signs of circulation in the fields. The fields are quite reflective, which exacerbates the tiny handling marks. This coin is from the famed Simpson and Hall collections.
