Only 7,715 pieces struck for this year in Carson City, of which 120 remain. This one is clearly one of the best, slightly behind an MS-62 and a single AU-58 seen by PCGS. Excellent color, luster and surfaces as one would expect for a coin from the Harry W. Bass, Jr., Collection. The strike is sharp throughout, and this coin has long been regarded as one of the top examples to survive of this scarce issue.
