One of only 65 pieces struck in Proof, and this is one of the finer and more appealing ones with the deep cameo contrast and fields and surfaces which are close if not at the gem level. Undisturbed frost on Miss Liberty, and the delicate fields are delightfully clean. Today between 16 and 20 are known, some impounded.
