The obverse depicts plain head left with crowned arms within wreath on the reverse. Very choice with a bold portrait and wonderful surfaces.
Umberto I (1844-1900), under his reign, he saw Italy attempt colonial expansion into the Horn of Africa, successfully gaining Eritrea and Somalia. He was killed by an anarchist.
