Ahwaz mint. ‘Abbasid-style legends naming ruler as shahanshah al-Rahim Abu Nasr only. ‘Abbasid caliph al-Qa’im and Dhakirat al-Din (heir) cited on obverse. Rare. A recently discovered type. All specimens come from a single hoard which entered the trade in 1990, all apparently struck at al-Ahwaz and all dated 445h.
