Tower Mint under the king, 1625-1642. Third bust. Plume of feathers mintmark. Shoulder-length, crowned portrait facing left wearing ruff, value XX (20 shillings) behind head; reverse, crowned and garnished oval shield with “CR” at sides.

An ideal example of this superbly engraved early Unite, lustrous and boldly struck with a wonderful portrait, choice surfaces, and elegant reddish gold toning.
