Obverse depicts King seated on throne, holding scepter and orb. The reverse has a cross fleurée, with lis in each angle. Crudely engraved; excellent centering and details, with choice surfaces.
After the death of his elder brother, Robert became heir to the crown of Naples. Then, with the Peace of Caltabellotta (1302) Robert and the Angevin dynasty lost Sicily forever.
