This extremely rare and possible unique semissis is an issue of the Eastern Emperor Leo I struck at the western mint of Rome. It was produced during the interregnum between the death of Olybrius on November 4, AD 472 and the usurpation of Glycerius on March 3, AD 472 when there was no recognized Western Emperor.
