A superb example of Bahram IV silver drachm showing the details of the crown, the royal shirt and insignia. The reverse shows the traditional fire altar with two attendants. On the altar’s column the phrase “Raasty” in Pahlavi meaning “truth” is noted. This phrase began to be used on the reverse of the Sasanian coins starting with Shapur II.
