Francesco Erizzo, Doge of Venice 1631-1646

Fr-1310, PCGS-graded MS-64

Francesco Erizzo, would have had a peaceful rule, except for the appearance of the bubonic plague, which killed 1/3 the inhabitants of the city. Venice then scaled back its foreign entanglements and concentrated on rebuilding the commerce of the city.
